The major activities carried out in this laboratory refer, as it has specifically occurred over the last four years, to strength testing (tear and tensile test) of:

Plastic films used in agriculture, both for greenhouse and tunnels, and for mulching and soil solarization;

Natural and artificial Geotextiles for soil erosion control

Another plastic-related sector is ageing through specific tools, to evaluate plastic mechanical capacity after use.
