Final Aim
The final aim of the international doctorate is to contribute to the definition of the high level professional research profiles within an international scientific context. The research training will allow innovative scientific competencies to be carried out which can be integrated into the university system and research centres as well as other private and public institutions within the sector.
One of the mains aims is the constitution of a European advanced doctorate formation network, aimed at valorising the experience of scientific and didactic cooperation in order to produce a synthesis that deals with the “ways of thinking” about the “city” in its various forms. Starting from the theories of architectural and urban phenomenology to the disassembling-reassembling procedures of visual modelling, graphic communication as well as the historical-genealogical methods intended as synthesis points of the relationship between construction, context and historical figures of architecture and the city.
The main aims therefore deal with “setting up” the design of interuniversity research as well as scientific adjournment through direct comparisons as well as the exchanging of study experiences with the mobility of doctorate students, researchers and professors.
