Daniela CARLUCCI, BEng Meng PhD

BACKGROUND:

Assistant Professor Daniela Carlucci is researcher at the Centre for Value Management at the Università della Basilicata in Italy. She is also member of the Institute of Knowledge Asset Management (IKAM) in Italy.

Daniela’s research, teaching and consulting focus on linking knowledge assets to performance management and organization value creation. In particular, her primary research interests focus around the following areas: knowledge management, knowledge assets and intellectual capital assessment & management, innovation, business performance measurement and management, decision making in organizations and decision support methods.

One of the main aims of her research and consulting activities is developing theoretical and practical approaches and tools to drive both public and private organizations towards the improvement of their value creation dynamics by understanding, exploiting, measuring and managing knowledge and intangible assets.

Daniela received her Degree in Engineering summa cum laude from University of Basilicata and the Ph.D. in Business Management from University of Repubblica of San Marino in Repubblica of San Marino. After P.H.D., she has been visiting researcher at the Centre for Business Performance, Cranfield School of Management. Moreover Daniela achieved a Master in “SMEs Management” at Chamber of Commerce of Potenza.

Actually she lectures "Business Management" at Faculty of Engineering at Università of Basilicata.
Moreover she is currently teaching "Decision Support Methods", "Investments analysis" and "Project Management", at the MBA program in Engineering at Università of Basilicata.

She is actively involved in relevant research and consultancy activities as researcher and has worked in research projects involving national organisations and institutions. Moreover Daniela is systematically engaged in teaching activities in public and private institutions.

She is specialised mainly in the design, implementation and review of knowledge management initiatives designed to support company’s performance improvement and value creation and in the application of decision support methods and systems.

She has authored and co-authored of several publications, including chapters of books, articles, research reports and white paper on a range of research topics particularly embracing Knowledge Assets and Intellectual Capital Management.

Daniela is regular speaker at national and international conferences and author of various academic and practitioner papers. Moreover, she is member of the AiIG – Italian Association of Management Engineering – and of the Euroma-European Operations Management Association.
