Language Courses

The University of Basilicata organises preparatory Italian language courses.

These courses, which take place twice a year at the beginning of each semester, are divided in two or three levels (A, B and C) and are given by experienced Italian mother tongue teachers.

At the end of the course students will get a mark. Students who pass will obtain 5 ECTS credits. The calendar will be as follows:

1^st semester - from October the 15^th to December the 15^th
2^nd semester - from March 3^rd to May 3^rd

Each course lasts no less than one month (for 40 hours). Students have the possibility to attend progressively to different courses of increasing difficulty (for example A and B level) in order to improve their Italian knowledge.
